ICE BestEx expands data coverage

We’ve expanded service coverage to include instruments that lack public trade data, providing customers more transparency and feedback in their execution quality. We’ve doubled our coverage for over 2 million new fixed income securities which includes a library of both liquid and less liquid, hard-to-value instruments across sovereigns, investment grade and high yield corporates, emerging markets, money market, U.S. municipals, agency pass-throughs, convertibles, and securitized assets including CMOs, ABS and MBS.

New climate risk and social impact data

The ESG Geo-Analyzer gives property owners, investors, and corporations greater transparency on multiple types of hazards including wildfires, hurricanes, droughts and floods, along with social impact data on community demographics and affluence. Clients can use geospatial data modelling to reduce their risk exposure and enhance pricing activities for commercial and residential properties throughout the U.S. with our corporate ESG database of 10,000+ companies.

Get to know the ICE team

Trabue Bland

Senior Vice President, ICE Futures Exchanges

What is your role at ICE and how long have you been with the company?

I am responsible for managing ICE’s derivatives exchanges, which covers our exchanges in the U.S., U.K., Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore. ICE is always evolving to meet client demands, which means the company feels very different today from when I joined 14 years ago, overseeing ICE’s regulatory affairs.

Where do you see the most opportunity for our partnership business growth in 2023?

In 2023, we may see volatility continue in our derivatives markets. The data we provide will be important to help inform our clients’ ability to make sound trading decisions. This creates a huge opportunity for our channel partners and clients.

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
Right after college, I was temporarily a writer for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, where I wrote a story on the Jurassic Park ride.
