Member Education

In order to provide some context and guidance to the exchange traded environment and specific rules, regulations and processes as they relate to ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) we have created the following series of Modules for you as an IFEU Member firm. Our suggestion would be to work through these in order, but equally, they can also be used independently from one another.

On clicking the Play Button you will need to enter some brief details and then the Module will be available. You can revisit each and all of these modules as frequently as you’d like. We’d also encourage you to let relevant colleagues know about these so that they can also work through them. Keep checking back too, as we’ll be adding to the content available over time.

Module 1: Understanding IFEU within the Global Regulatory And Reporting Environment

This first module in the series provides an understanding of the core purpose of an exchange and how this central market mechanism sits within the wider regulatory and reporting environment. ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) is our exchange context throughout this module, and the others in the series.

Module 2: Rules and Regulatory Guidance for IFEU

This second module in the series provides you with guidance on IFEU Members’ obligations, as set out in the Rulebook.

Module 3: Guide to ICE Block Usage and Rules

This third module in the series provides guidance on Block Trading on ICE Futures Europe markets.

Module 4: Market Surveillance

This fourth module in the series provides guidance on the need for robust trade surveillance and the identification of rules and regulations around aspects of market abuse and disorderly trading.

Module 5: Investigation and Disciplinary Procedures and Process

This fifth module in the series provides guidance on the investigation and potential disciplinary procedures and processes when a breach of the Rulebook occurs.
