A monthly cash-settled swap based on the Platts daily assessment price for Ethanol T2 FOB Rotterdam Barges. The contract reflects the market price of duty-paid, European-qualified fuelgrade ethanol loaded on barges in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region. Ethanol must meet European sustainability requirements under the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and conform to European automotive fuel quality standards. Prices are assessed daily by Platts and quoted in Euros per cubic metre, with the final settlement price calculated as the average of the daily assessments over the contract month.
