Colocation Services in the European Liquidity Center (EULC)
ICE data center in Basildon, Essex (UK), designed and built on the principles of a Tier 4 guided facility, that provides colocation and connectivity to ICE Futures, along with access to third-party exchanges and other content providers via ICE Global Network.
Facility Highlights
- Advanced facility incorporating seven 1,000 square meter halls.
- Powered by two diversely routed National Grid power feeds, each terminated via its own transformer station on site.
- Forty-eight hours of emergency generator fuel storage as standard.
- Carrier Meet Me Room facilities allowing customers a choice of telecommunications provider for services into and out of the colocation hall.
Services
- Cabinet options include standard 4kW up to 18kW high-density cabinets. Partial cabinets also available from 0.5kW.
- IGN Liquidity Centre Network (LCN-LX) providing low latency, layer 3 access to ICE Futures trading systems (LIFFE silo) located within the data center, including order entry and market data services.
- Cross-connect services (LCX) to facilitate connectivity between colocation customers or between a colocation customer and a telecommunications provider located in the MMR.
- ICE Global Network providing layer 2 and layer 3 network services beyond Basildon systems. Access includes remote ICE Data Services data and systems, third party data, trading services and connectivity to customers.
- Timing services include NPLTime PTP, GNSS direct feed, and NTP.
- Purpose-built rooftop platform available for customers to install their own antennae for wireless connectivity.
