2025 Annual Golf Day

ICE is delighted to announce that we will be holding our annual golf day on Friday July 4 at The Grove.

The Grove, home to one of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses, has welcomed many greats of the game, having staged a World Golf Championship event, won by Tiger Woods in 2006, as well as hosting the British Masters in 2016. Agenda

Arrival & Registration

Once at The Grove, follow the main drive up past the hotel and park as close to The Stables as possible, then follow signs for ‘Golf Bag Drop’. The Grove team will greet you and operate a full bag drop experience. There will also be valet parking available. Once you have been through bag drop please proceed to the ICE registration desk. Follow the ‘ICE registration’ signs down the corridor towards the golfers’ lounge. The Locker Room and full shower facilities are now open. Please be reminded that The Grove is a soft-spike course

Golf – shotgun start

There is a shotgun start for the event at 9:00 a.m. Your allocated tee will be notified to you at the registration desk. Please congregate in the turning circle at the front of the stables at 8:30am for the golfers’ briefing and to move to your allocated starting tee when advised. Once again, we will be using VPAR electronic live scoring devices in place of traditional scorecards. The live leader board will enable you to check your score against your nearest rivals! The devices will be distributed to each team prior to tee off.

Golf – format and competitions

There will be both a team and individual stableford competition again this year. In addition to the main competition for the coveted Rob Laughlin Memorial Trophy, there will be plenty of other opportunities to win some great prizes during the day.

Dress code

Normal golfing attire is required on the golf course.
