Reid joined Kpler over six years ago as a crude analyst and has grown alongside the company ever since.

Based in Houston, Reid has a near decade of experience studying the intersection between global demand conditions and the state of commodity markets with a particular focus on emerging markets.

Before joining Kpler, Reid obtained a master’s degree in economics from the University of Houston. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in finance.

You will regularly find him quoted in the financial press or appearing on tv to provide timely updates on the state of commodity markets across the globe.

Joshua Starnes

Director Business Development, ICE

Joshua Starnes is based in Houston, Texas and serves as Director, Business Development for ICE Data Services covering commodity and energy content. Prior to joining Intercontinental Exchange Joshua was the Director of Research, Americas for Refinitiv where he developed quantitative analysis and model-based projection methods covering the supply and demand chain for North American crude and refined product markets. He has a BA in English from the University of Houston and an MS in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University.
